Word Lesson 1

TermDefinition
Backstage View A screen that appears when you click the file tab.
Block Style Format aligns text along the left margin.
Command Is an instruction based on an action that you perform in Word by clicking a button or entering information into a command box.
Dialog Box Displays additional options or information you can use to execute a command.
Dialog Box launcher A small arrow in the lower right corner of the group.
Groups Collections of related Word commands.
I-beam When you place your cursor near it, the intersection point changes to a large "I".

Voices

Use these flashcards to help memorize information. Look at the large card and try to recall what is on the other side. Then click the card to flip it. If you knew the answer, click the green Know box. Otherwise, click the red Don't know box.

When you've placed seven or more cards in the Don't know box, click "retry" to try those cards again.
