Footer | Appears at the bottom of a page. |
Footnote | Is placed at the bottom of the page on which the citation is located. |
Header | Appears at the top of a document page. |
Hyperlink | A way to jump from one location to another. |
Hypertext transfer protocol | Is how data is transferred to external sites through servers. |
MLA style | Single spaced with a hanging indent and double spacing between each footnote while an endnote is double spaced with a first line indent. |
Plagiarism | Quoting, paragraphing, or summarizing outside sources without giving credit. |
Source | Includes all the information about where a specific element of your paper comes from. |
Tab leader | Symbols that appear between the table of contents topic and the corresponding page number. |
Table of Authorities | A specialized type of bibliography used in legal documents. |
Table of Contents | An ordered list of the headings in a document. |
Works Cited | A collection of sources that you place at the end of a document. |
