TermDefinition
Caption Few descriptive words typically used for figures, tables, and equations.
Caption Trimming the horizontal or vertical edges to remove unwanted areas.
Drawing canvas Serves as a guide for shapes.
Embedded object When an image is inserted into a document and is no longer connected to the original image.
Floating object An image that allows text to wrap around it in one of the available formats.
Inline object An object that moves along with the text around it.
Linked object Creates a connection between the document and the external picture file.
Scale Increases or decreases the original picture’s height and width by a percentage.
Screen Clippings Enables you to draw a box and capture an image of its contents.
