Word Lesson 7 Vocabulary for MS Word 2016

TermDefinition
Building blocks Contain built-in reusable content such as text, graphics, and objects. Easy to manage and insert into documents.
Document theme A set of predefined formatting options that includes theme colors, fonts, and effects.
Field A placeholder that Word uses to insert content into a document.
Pull quote A small selection of text that is pulled out or quoted from a larger text.
Style set Predefined collections of styles with fonts and paragraph spacing included.
Text box A formatted box in which you can insert and position text and/or graphic objects.
Unicode A character code. A Unicode allows most languages in the world to be symbolized with special character identifications. (Symbol dialog box)
Watermarks Built-in text that displays lightly behind text as words, such as confidential, draft, or urgent. Customizable to include text or images, like company logos.
