QuestionAnswer
Ascending Sorts text form beginning to end
Cells The rectangles that are formed when rows and columns intersect.
Cell Range 2 or more cells within the table.
Descending Sorts text from end to beginning.
Formulas Used to calculate a total, compute an average, determine the highest/lowest number and count values.
Header Row The first row of the table contains information that helps identify the contents of a particular column.
Merge Cells To combine two or more cells into one.
Quick tables Built in preformatted tables, such as calendars and tab lists that you can insert and use in your documents.
Sort To arrange data alphabetically, numerically or chronologically.
Split cells To divide one cell into two or more cells.
Table An arrangement of data made up of horizontal rows and vertical columns.
