Ascending Sorts text from beginning to the end
Cells Rectangles that are formed when rows and columns intersect
Cell Range Identified by two or more cells within a table
Descending Sorts text from the end to the beginning
Formulas Calculates a total, Compute an average, determine highest/lowest number, and count values
Header row First row of a table that contains information that helps identify the contents of a particular column
Merge Cells Combine two or more cells into one
Quick Tables Built in preformatted tables that you can use in your document
Sort Arrange data alphabetically, numerically, or chronologically
Split Cells Divide one cell into two or more cells
Table Arrangement of data made up of horizontal rows and vertical columns
