404 Error a common website error message that indicates a webpage cannot be found
Address Bar a text field near the top of a Web browser window that displays the URL of the current webpage
Apache the most popular Web server software. It enables a computer to host one or more websites that can be accessed over the Internet using a Web browser
Avatar the embodiment of a person or idea. However, in the computer world, an avatar specifically refers to a character that represents an online user
Digital Footprint a trail of data you create while using the Internet. It includes the websites you visit, emails you send, and information you submit to online services
Firewall It acts as a barrier between a trusted system or network and outside connections, such as the Internet
Flaming the act of posting or sending offensive messages over the Internet
Moodle an acronym for "Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment." It is an online educational platform that provides custom learning environments for students
P2P "Peer to Peer." In a P2P network, the "peers" are computer systems which are connected to each other via the Internet
Spoofing "spoof" means to hoax, trick, or deceive, refers tricking or deceiving computer systems or other computer users
