TermDefinition
Columns A vertical box of text in witch text flows from the bottom of one column to the top of the next.
Hyphenation It’s the automated process of breaking word between lines to make more consistency across a text box.
Landscape orientation It is used in brochures, graphics, and tables and it orients text along the longer dimension of the page.
Margins Its the area of white space at the top bottom of a page and the space that border the sides of the page.
Non-breaking spaces It’s a space character that prevents the automatic line break in its position.
Orphan It’s the first line of a paragraph that appears at alone at the bottoms of the page.
Page break A page in the document were one-page ends and another one begins.
Portrait orientation Text extends across the shorter length of a document
Section break It is used to create multiple sections on the same document.
Widow It’s the last line of a paragraph that appears as a single line of text at the top of the page.
