TermDefinition
Columns Vertical blocks of text with text that goes from the top to the bottom
Hyphenation A command that provides options to hyphenate words in a document
Landscape orientation A page orientation in which the text goes across the longer dimensions of the page
Margins The white space that borders the document
Non-breaking spaces A character that prevents automatic line breaking at its position
Orphan The first line of a paragraph that appears alone on the last line of the previous page
Page break The part of the document where one-page ends, and a new page begins
Portrait orientation A page orientation in which text extends across the shorter length of the document
Section break A command that makes multiples sections in a document
Widow The last line of a paragraph that appears alone on the first line of the next page
