Alignment Indentation, and spacing between paragraphs
First-line indent Inserts blank space between the left margin and the first lime of the paragraph (one-half inch is the default setting for this indent
Hanging indent Common in legal documents and bibliography pages, begin the first full of text in a paragraph at the left margins
Indent Is a blank space inserted between text and the left or right margin
Leaders Are symbols such as dotted, dashed, or solid lines that fill the space before a tab
Line spacing The space between each line of text
Negative indent Extends paragraphs
