TermDefinition
Alignment Where the paragraph is aligned about the margins. (Left, Centered, Right, or Justified)
First-line indent Inserts a blank space between the left margin and first line of the paragraph.
Hanging indent First full line of text will begin at the left margin, all other lines in the paragraph are indented from the left margin.
Indent Blank space inserted between text and the left or right margin.
Leaders Symbols like dotted, dashed, or solid lines that fill the space before a tab.
Line spacing Amount of space between the lines of text in a paragraph.
Negative indent Extends paragraph text into the left margin.
