autocorrrect feature that replaces symbols, commonly misspelled words, and abbreviations with specific text strings
clipboard stores the items for you to paste in another location
copy places a duplicate copy of text in the clipboard
cut removes text from original location and places it in the clipboard
document properties identifies creator. date of creation. subject and category, and keywords
go to provides a way to navigate through longer documents quickly
navigation pane allows you to navigate your document quickly by selecting headlines on pages or by searching for text
object zoom zoom in on objects such as tables or charts
paste pastes text to a new location from the clipboard
read mode page layout with larger font for easier reading
replace opens the find and replace dialog box. replaces words or phrases with others
thumbnails page images
wildcard characters used to find other words that contain specific letters or a combination of letters
