Word lesson 2 vocabulary

QuestionAnswer
Autocorrect Replaces symbols, commonly misspelled words, and abbreviations with specific text strings.
Clipboard Stores items for you to paste in another location of the document or another office file.
Copy Places a duplicate copy in the Clipboard.
Cut Removes from the original location and places the text in the Clipboard collection.
Document properties Identify the creator, date created, subject, category, and key words for the document.
Go-To Provides a way to navigate through longer documents quickly.
Navigation pane A feature that provides options for browsing and searching in reading mode.
Object zoom Enables you to zoom in on objects such as tables, charts, or images while in read mode.
Paste Pastes text from the Clipboard to a new location in either the original or new document
read mode Changes the page layout of the document with a larger font for easier reading.
Replace Replaces formatting such as a specific font color, bolding or italics.
Thumbnails Reduced size versions of images.
Wildcard Characters that help you find words or phrases that contain specific letters or combinations of letters.
