| Term | Definition |

| Aggressive customer | One who complains loudly and at length. |
| Chronic Complainer | One who is never satisfied and always thinks there is something wrong. |
| Clientele | Clients of a business or company. |
| Coaching Session | When a manager trains employees to properly handle a situation. |
| Complaint | communication from a customer that alleges deficiencies after a purchase. |
| Customer Service | a company's ability to supply the customer with its wants and needs. |
| Customer Service Representative | One in a business that interacts with customers often, mostly before a transaction has occurred. |
| High-Roller Customer | one who wants the absolute best and will complain in a reasonable manner |
| Manager | one who has control of a company |
| Meek Customer | one who does not complain to the corporation but to others bringing down the business' reputation. |
| Rip-Off Customer | one who wants something they are not entitled to, often says "not good enough" |
| Troubleshoot | to determine the problem that exists and how to correct them. |
