TermDefinition
Flyer A single page inexpensive document used sell a product or service and to convey a message in as few words as possible.
Headline The first line of text on a flyer
Body copy The lines of text between the headline and the signature line on a flyer.
Signature line The last line of text on a flyer that contains the contact information or a call to action.
Formatting Mark Characters that appear on screen but do not print out.
Zoom To increase or decrease the magnification of a document.
Wordwrap Allows you to type words in a paragraph continually without pressing the ENTER key at the end of each line.
Save As Used the first time to name and save a file.
Format To change or modify the appearance of a document.
Paragraph Formatting The process of changing the appearance of a document.
Character formatting The process of changing the way characters appear on the screen and in print.
Font Defines that appearance and shape of the letters, numbers, and special characters.
Font size Specifies the size of the characters and is determined by a measurement systems called points.
Shade Colors the rectangular area behind text or graphics.
Bulleted List A series of paragraphs, each beginning with a bullet character.
Theme A set of unified formats for fonts, colors, and graphics.
Font color Color applied to the characters on screen and in print.
