What is Microsoft Word? A programme that is used to create a document
Print Layout Shows the document as it appears on the printed page.
Read Mode Shows the document in full screen
Web layout Shows how the content of a document will be appearing when it will publish to the web.
Outline view Create an outline and you can manipulate text easily.
Draft view Shows text formatting but with a simple layout of the page
Sentence case Makes capital letters for the beginning of sentences only and the rest letters lower case
Lowercase Makes all text lower case
UPPERCASE Makes all the text capital letters
Capitalise Each Word Makes the first letter of each word a capital letter
tOGGLE cASE Makes the first letter of each word lower case and the rest letter capital letters.
Tabs Are useful when we want to align text or numbers in columns
Line spacing Space between each line in a paragraph.
Paragraph spacing Add or delete the amount of spacing above or below the paragraph
Style Collection of formatting instructions.
Mail merge Creates personalise letters and pre-addressed envelopes or mailing labels for mass mailings from a form letter.
Portrait orientation The page will be oriented in a vertical position
Landscape orientation The page will be oriented in a horizontal position
Paragraph indentation Is used to align the paragraph to the right or to the left of the margins in a specific distance.
Bullet points and a bulleted list Are useful to organise information in a list format,
