TermDefinition
Aptitude Naturally ability to do something.
Employees A person employed for wages.
Entrepreneurship A person who organizes and operates a business, taking on greater than normal financial risks in order to do so.
Self-assessment Evaluation of oneself.
Teen Entrepreneur Teenager or person under twenty taking on a business.
Business Plan A document setting out a business's future objectives and strategies for achieving them.
Sole-Proprietorship A person who owns the business and is personally responsible for its debts.
Partnership a business owned and run by two or more partners.
Corporation A company or group of people authorized to act as a single entity (legally a person) and recognized as such in law.
Franchise An authorization granted by a government or company to an individual or group enabling them to carry out specified commercial activities, e.g., providing a broadcasting service or acting as an agent for a company's products.
Buy existing business Purchasing a business that is already formed.
Family owned business Business in which two or more family members are involved and the majority of ownership or control lies within a family.
