FDDI A set of ANSI protocols for sending digital data over fiber optic cable. Fiber Distributed Data Interface
DHCP Part of the TCP/IP protocol stack; this kind of server hands out dynamic IP addresses and other information to clients so they can connect to the network. Dynamic Host Control (or Configuration) Protocol
CNE Novell's professional certification; better than CNA, not as good as MCNE. Certified Netware Engineer
ATM A method of sending audio, visual and computer data at the same time over one high-speed digital line. Asynchronous Transfer Mode
