Active Listener

TermDefinition
Active Listening is a communication technique that is used in counseling, training, and conflict resolution
Reference Listening a communication strategy involving two key steps: seeking to understand a speaker's idea, then offering the idea back to the speaker, to confirm the idea has been understood correctly.
Inattentive not paying attention to something.
Acceptance the action of consenting to receive or undertake something offered.
Empathy the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.
Intensity the quality of being intense.
Verbal Skills The sharing of information between individuals by using speech
Non-verbal Skills those aspects of communication, such as gestures and facial expressions, that do not involve verbal communication but which may include nonverbal aspects of speech itself
