Color Terms
| Question | Answer |

| How do you perceive white? | When all of the wavelengths are refleceted back to your eye. |
| How do you perceive black? | When there is no light reflected back to your eye. |
| What is a hue? | A color. |
| What are the primary colors/ | Red, yellow and blue, |
| What are the secondary colors? | Violet, orange, and green. |
| What are the tertiary colors? | Red-violet, blue-violet, yellow-green, yellow-orange, blue-green, red-orange |
| What is a saturated color? | A oure color. (NO white or black added) |
| What 3 groups make the color wheel? | Pri,ary, Secondary, Tertiary |
| What is a tint? | A saturated color that has white added to it. |
| What is a shade? | Saturated color that has black added to it. |
| What are 3 warm colors? | Red, orange, yellow |
| What are 3 cool colors? | Blue, green, violet |
| What are 5 neutral colors? | Black, white, grey, tan, and brown. |
| What are the 6 color harmonies? | Monochromatic, Complementary, Triadic, Split-Complementary, Analogous, Double Complementary |
| What is monochromatic? | One color thats uses tints and shades. |
| What is analogous? | 3 or more colors next to each other. |
| What's complentary? | 2 colors directly across from each other. |
| What is triadic? | 3 colors in between each color, making a triangle. |
| What is split complentary? | A color and the two colors next to its compliment. |
| Whats a neutral scheme? | Any combination of black, white, grey, tan, and brown. |
