Yang Channel Source points Tx: Dispel Shi (excess) pathogenic factors
Luo points are connecting points
Luo points main function - to connect Yin/Yag paired channels - regulate problems affecting both paired channels - reinforce action of source points - regulates Qi between left/right sides of channel - regulates flow of Qi between organs related to Midday-Midnight Law
Front Mu points - alarm points - alert you of organ disharmony - treats acute problems related to that organ
Back Shu points - treat associated organ directly - treat chronic diseases
Inferior He Sea points Tx: tonifies yang organs
Jing Well (aka Ting Well) - most superficial - has an outward movement tendency - used for immediate change - treats (Tx): fullness under the heart; mental irritation - indications include: fainting, heatstroke, loss of consciousness, convulsions - prick to bleed - clears heat
Shu Stream - Wei Qi (defensive energy) gathers at this point - treats (Tx): feeling of heaviness; joint pain; intermittent disease - Yin channel = source point
Jing River - least used clinically - the channel here is wider and deeper - Treats (Tx): cough, asthma, upper respiratory problems
He Sea - Qi at it's strongest here - channel wider/depper; Qi joins general circulation like a stream - has inward movement - Treats (Tx): rebellious Qi: Diarrhea/Vomiting - Yang Ming organs
