How do you percieve white? when light hits a object thats white the light bounces back and looks white to you
How do you percieve black? light bounces off the color and allows it to look black.
What is hue? hue is another word for color.
What are the primary colors? red blue yellow
What are the secondary colors? green purple orange
What are the tertiary colors? red-orange blue-green yellow-orange
What is a saturated color? is a pure color thats not mixed with any otherr.
What three groups make up the color wheel? primary, secondary, tertiary
What is a tint? tint is a color mixed with white to make it lighter
What is a shade? shade is a darker color than the original
What are three colors that are considered to be warm colors? yellow red orange
What are three colors that are considered to be cool colors? purple blue green
What are the five neutral colors? grey white black tan brown
What are the six types of color harmonies? monochromatic,analougus,complementary,triadic,split complemementary, neutral
What is a monochromatic color harmony? uses different tints and shades of a certian color.
What is an analougus color harmony? uses 3 colors next to each other
What is a complementary color harmony? 2 opposite colors
What is a triadic color harmony? uses three colors equally spaced around the color wheel
What is a split complementary scheme? uses a color and the two colors adjacent to its complementary
What is a neutral color scheme? include black, white, gray, and sometimes brown and beige
