How do you percieve white ? when the room is light.
How do you percieve black ? when the room is dark.
What is hue ? hue is color itself.
What are the primary colors ? red,blue,yellow.
What are the secondary colors ? violet,green,orange.
What are the tertiary colors ? red violet,blue violet,blue green, yellow green,yellow ornage,red orange.
What is a saturated color ? the colors used in the color wheel.
What three groups make up the color wheel ? primary,secondary,tertiary.
What is a tint ? A saturated color that's mixed with pure white.
What is a shade ? A saturated color that is mixed with pure black.
What are the three colors that are considered warm colors ? red,orange,yellow.
What are the three colors that are considered cool colors ? blue,purple,green.
What are the five neutral colors ? Black,grey,white,brown,tan.
What are the six type of color harmonies ? Monochromatic,analogous,complementary,triadic,split compliementary,neutral.
What is a monochromatic harmony ? Only tints and shades of one color.
What is an analogous harmony ? Using three or more colors that are next to eachother on the color wheel.
What is a complimentary harmony ? Using two colors that are across from eachother on the color wheel.
What is a triadic harmony ? Using three colors that are located within equal distance of eachother.
What is a split complimentary harmony ? Using a color and any two colors that compliment it.
What is a neutral color scheme ? Any combinations of black,white,grey,brown,or tan.
