what is a hue a hue refers to a color
what are the primary colors? the primary colors are red, blue and yellow
what are the secondary colors? the secondary colors are orange, green and violet
what are the tertiary colors? the tertiary colors are red-violet, blue-violet, blue-green, yellow-green, yellow-orange, and red- orange.
what is a saturated color? a saturated color is a color with no black or white in it.
what is a tint? a saturated color mixed with pure white color
what is a shade? a satuarted color mixed with a pure black color
what are three colors that are considered to be warm colors? yellow, orange and red
what are three colors that are considered to be cool colors? greenl, blue and purple
what are the five neutral colors? black, grey, white, brown and tan.
what are the six types of color harmonies? monocromatic, analogous, complementary, tradic, split compltementary and neutral
what is a monocromatic color scheme? a monocromatic color scheme includes using one color and using tints and shades of only that one color
what is a analogous color scheme? a analogous color scheme includes using three or more colors that are next to each other on the color wheel
what is a complementary color scheme? a complementary color scheme includes of using two colors on the color wheel that are directly across from each other.
what is a triadic color scheme? a triadic color scheme includes of using three colors that are equal distance apart from each other on the color wheel.
what is a split complementary color scheme? a split complementary color scheme includes of using any color and the two colors located besides the colors complement
what is a neutral color scheme a neutral color scheme includes of using black, white, tan, grey and brown.
