| Interests | are your favorite things |
| Values | Are what you believe is important |
| Work Values | Are things about work that are important to you |
| Aptitude | Your potential for learning |
| Skill | you are developing this by performing a task over and over (practice) |
| Ability | is what you get when you have developed your skill |
| Research | investigating a subject and gathering information about it |
| Personality | The sum of your feelings, actions, habits, and thoughts |
| Learning Styles | Different ways people naturally think and learn |
| Self Awareness | Knowing your thoughts, feelings, and actions |
| Work | Is what people do to earn money |
| Needs | are things you can’t live without |
| Wants | things you like to have, but don’t‘ need |
| Job | is work that people do for pay. |
| Occupation | is a set of related experiences and skills |
| Full-time | means that you work at least 40 hours a week |
| Lifestyle | is the way you use your time, energy, and other resources |
| Lifestyle Budget | budget reflects your lifestyle desires |
| Time Management | is choosing how to spend one’s time and creating a schedule for one’s choices. |
| Decision | a choice you make about what action to take |
| Obstacle | is something that stands in your way. |
| Attitude | is your basic outlook on life. |
| Backup plan | is an alternative course of action. |
| Body Language | is the gestures, posture, and eye contact you use to express yourself |
| Networking | is communicating with people you know or can get to know. |
