What is Business
| Question | Answer |

| Business | a profit or nonprofit organization that provides goods and services that satisfy customer / consumer needs and wants |
| Not-for-profit | no profit motive– organization exist to provide social and educational services |
| Management | the level in an organization where decisions are made and policies are interpreted to guide a business toward accomplishing their mission |
| Marketing | activities associated with identifying the particular wants and needs of a target market of customer |
| Accounting | a process by which financial information is recorded, classified, summarized, interpreted and communicated to owners, managers, and other interested parties |
| HR (Human Resources) | responsible for the hiring, firing and motivation regarding employees, also responsible for corporate relations with the community. |
| Legal Department | responsible for making sure the company follows all legal responsibilities and procedures required by the government |
| IT (Information Technology) | has to do with maintaining the computer network within the office setting and all internet relationships with customers |
