Causes of Qi stagnation are? Mental and emotional disturbance, inproper diet, external invasion, trauma
Distending unfixed pain, sensation of oppression or feeling of fullness in the area where qi is stagnating wiry pulse Qi stagnation
If Qi stagnation is in the abdomen it may produce what? Masses that are soft to the touch and disperse periodically
Symptoms of Qi stagnation are aggravated by? And are temporarily relieve by? Emotions, by sighing belching or passing gas
Rebellious Qi When Qi flows in the wrong direction/opposite of the way it normally flow
The most commonly seen Qi rebellions are? Stomach and lung rebellious Qi and liver Qi rising
What are the causes of rebellious lung Qi Any factors that disrupt the lungs dispersing a dissenting functions. kidney and lung Qi deficiency

What are the causes of rebellious stomach Qi Any factor that causes the dysfunction of the stomach regulating and descending function

What causes blood stasis? Qi stagnation,Qi deficiency, interior cold (cold constricts), blood heat (makes blood thicker), hemorrhage or trauma, blood deficiency, phlegm
Dark complexion, purple lips, fixed sharp stabbing pain, abdominal mass is that a harder and fixed, purple nails, bleeding with dark blood or dark clots Blood stasis or stagnation
What does the color purple indicate Blood stasis
What type of pulse would blood stasis have? Wirey firm choppy pulse
What type of tongue would blood stasis have? Purple tongue
What does heat do to the blood? Heat makes blood restless
What are the causes of heat in the blood External heat invading the blood internal organ heat (liver heat heart heat etc.)
Feeling of heat, skin diseases with red irruption's, thirst, bleeding, red tongue, rapid pulse are signs and symptoms of what? Heat in the blood

Non-substantial phlegm can be retained subcutaneously or in the channels. It can obstruct heart orifices, gallbladder or kidneys in the form of stones. It can also settle in the joints in the form of arthritic bones deformities
Nonsubstantial phlegm under the skin will cause what? Lumps under the skin, swelling of lymph nodes, swelling of the fibroid, lipomas
Non-substantial phlegm in the channels will cause what? Not visible but can cause numbness
Non-substantial phlegm misting the heart will cause what? Causing mental issues, and can obstruct the heart orifices and mist the mind
Non-substantial phlegm in the gallbladder or kidneys will cause what? Gallbladder or kidney stones
Non-substantial phlegm in the joints will cause what? Bone deformities , rheumatoid arthritis, bone growth
How does damp phlegm manifest? With expectoration of profuse phlegm that is white sticky and relatively easy to expectorate
