Computer Shortcuts
Shortcut | What the shortcut does |

Fn + F3 | Mutes the computer |
Fn + F8 | Lowers the computer volume |
Fn + F9 | Raises the computer volume |
Fn + F2 | Hit once turns on the back-lit keyboard. Hit twice makes the back-lit keyboard brighter. Hit a third time turns off the back-lit keyboard. |
Ctrl + Alt + Arrows | Rotates the computer screen |
Fn + F5 | Hit once disconnects WiFi. Hit twice reconnects WiFi. |
Ctrl + F | Brings up a quick find toolbar where you can find specific words and/or phrases in a program |
Windows Key + D | Immediately brings you to your desktop |
Alt (held down) + Tab (tapped as many times as needed) | Brings up thumbnails of all open programs/windows with repeated taps of the second key allowing you to open the specific window you want to work in |
Ctrl + S | In most programs, this will bring up the window to save a file. |
Ctrl + C | In most programs, works as a shortcut to copy a highlighted image and/or portion of text. |
Ctrl + V | In most programs, works as a shortcut to paste an already copied or cut image and/or portion of text. |
Ctrl + X | In most programs, works as a shortcut to cut a highlighted image and/or portion of text. |
Ctrl + P | In most programs, works as a shortcut to options to print a window or file. |
