Placeholder | Type of text frame within a slide. |
Normal View | Shows slides |
Slide Sorter View | Shows all slides in minimised format. |
Notes Page | Allows the user to add presenter notes for each slide. |
Slide Show | Runs the slide show presentation. |
Grouping | Groups a number of images or shapes together. |
Transition Effects | How a slide will enter the screen during a presentation. |
Animation Effects | How objects on a slide will move onto the slide during a presentation. |
Hyperlink | Connection from one slide to another or to another slide show, document or web page. |
Hide Slide | When running a presentation will skip a slide. |
Outline View | Shows only text content on a slide when printed. |
Handouts | Fits 1, 2, 3,4,6 or 9 slides per page when printed. |
Notes Pages | Fits 1 slide plus speaker notes per page when printed. |
Sound Effects | Sets an audio clip or sound to an element in the slide. |
Flip | Images can be flipped horizontally or vertically |
Rotate | Images can be rotated by any amount of degrees. |
Shadow | Applies a shadow effect to a drawn object or image. |
Graphical Object | Picture, image, logo, shape, drawn object. |
Slide Number | Numbers each slide. |
Slide Footer | Inserts text, data and time and slide number. |
Promote | Move a bullet or number to first line indent |
Demote | Move a bullet or number to second line indent |
Slide Layout | How placeholders appear on a slide |
Title Slide | Contains a title placeholder only |
Title and Content | Displays a title and content placeholder for text, images or tables. |
Blank | Blank slide with no placeholders. |
