| intervene (v) | to intentionally become involved in a difficult situation in order to improve it or prevent it from getting worse. |
| propose(v) | to offer or suggest a possible plan or action for other people to consider |
| off- duty (adj) | When police officers, doctors, guards, etc. are off-duty, they are not working |
| criticise (v) | to express disapproval of someone or something |
| revenge (n) | harm done to someone as a punishment for harm that they have done to someone else |
| flexible(adj) | a person or company which can work in different ways, at different times, or in different places when it is necessary |
| consistent(adj) | always behaving or happening in a similar, especially positive, way |
| acceptable (adj) | satisfactory and able to be agreed to or approved of |
| bully(n) | someone who hurts or frightens someone who is smaller or less powerful, often forcing them to do something that they do not want to do |
| vital(adj) | necessary for the success or continued existence of something; extremely important |
| solution (n) | the answer to a problem |
| misunderstanding(n) | an occasion when someone does not understand something correctly |
| fault(n); to be at fault | a mistake, especially something for which you are to blame; to have done something wrong |
| resolution(n) | an official decision that is made after a group or organization has voted |
| resolve (v) | to solve or end a problem or difficulty |
| clash(v) | to fight or argue |
| oppressive(adj) | cruel and unfair |
| workload(n) | the amount of work to be done, especially by a particular person or machine in a period of time |
| unfair (adj) | not treating people in an equal way, or not morally right |
| dominate (v) | to have control over a place or person |
| extension(n) | the fact of reaching, stretching, or continuing; the act of adding to something in order to make it bigger or longer |
| deal(n) | an agreement or an arrangement, especially in business |
| feedback (n) | information or statements of opinion about something, such as a new product, that can tell you if it is successful or liked |
| agenda(n) | a list of matters to be discussed at a meeting |
| negotiate (v) | to have formal discussions with someone in order to reach an agreement with them |
| compromise(n) | an agreement in an argument in which the people involved reduce their demands or change their opinion in order to agree |
| exceed(v) | to be greater than a number or amount, or to go past an allowed limit |
| patronize(v) | to speak to or behave towards someone as if they are stupid or not important |
| provocative (adj) | causing thought about interesting subject |
| conciliatory(adj)- | intended to show that you care about the feelings or opinions of someone who is angry or upset with you |
