esophagus The part of the digestive system that pushes food to the stomach using wave like muscle contractions.
food chain A model that shows how energy and matter can pass form organism to another in an ecosystem.
vein a blood vessel that takes oxygen poor blood from the body tissue back to the heart.
nutrition A branch of science that studies food and how the body uses it.
