What events establish Macbeth as a hero? He saves Duncan's kingdom from enemies in battle.

What is the primary theme of Act 1? The supernatural.
What is the witches' role in Act 1? They foreshadow future events.
What prophecy do the witches give Macbeth? He will become Thane of Cawdor. He will become king.
Which traitor does Macbeth kill in battle? Macdonwald.
Where do Duncan and his nobles travel at the end of Act 1? Inverness.
Where does the action of Act primarily take place? Forres.
What concern does Lady Macbeth have about her husband? He isn't ruthless to become king.
What prophecy do the witches give Banquo? His sons will be king.
Why does Lady Macbeth want to drug Duncan's guards? So they will sleep while she kills Duncan.
Who actually kills Duncan? Macbeth.
Why does Lady Macbeth not kill Duncan herself? He reminds her of her father.
Why does Macbeth say he will sleep no more? His conscience will not allow him to sleep.
Who discovers Duncan's body? Macduff.
