active cell An active cell refers to a cell in Excel spreadsheet that is currently selected by clicking mouse pointer or keyboard keys.
sheet tabs Microsoft Excel, a sheet, sheet tab, or worksheet tab
status bar a horizontal bar, typically at the bottom of the screen or window,
mode indicator lower left corner of the status.
range select a range when you want a platform
formula a equation in a worksheet
labels entries that contain text
values number formula
function built in formula
arguments the information necessary
formula prefix followed by cell address range names
calculation operators indicate what type of calculation you want to perform
reference operators enable you use to ranges in calculations
enter button the check mark on formula bar
