| Margins | blank areas between the edge of the text and edge of the page |
| portrait landscape | a page id taller than it is wide |
| orientation Landscape | a page is wider than it is tall |
| gutter | adds extra space between the left, top, or inside margin to allow for the binding |
| mirror margins | used in a document with facing pages such as a magazine margins on texts are mirrored to the other page |
