TermDefinition
CUT AND PASTE To move text or graphics using the cut and paste commands.
CUT To remove an item from a document and place it on the clipboard.
CLIPBOARD A small board with a spring clip at the top, used for holding papers and providing support for writing..
DRAG AND DROP Move (an icon or other image) to another part of the screen using a mouse or similar device, typically in order to perform some operation on a file or document.
SAVE To store a file permanently on a disk or to overwrite the copy of a file that is stored on a disk with the changes made to the file.
SAVE AS A command in the File menu of most applications that causes a copy of the current document or image to be created.
SYSTEM CLIPBOARD A clipboard that stores only the last item cut or copied from a document
OFFICE CLIPBOARD The Office Clipboard stores text and graphics that you copy or cut from anywhere, and it lets you paste the stored items into any other
