bug An error in a computer's software that causes the software not to work.
server A computer or device on a computer network that provides information to other computers on the network.
gigabyte 1,024 megabytes
virus A program or code that is loaded onto a computer and run against the user's wishes.
operating system The software that controls how the computer runs and processes information.
digital versatile disc A compact disc used primarily for storing an entire movie.
universal serial bus A port that can be used to connect parts like keyboards and printers.
central processing unit The "brain" of the computer where the actual work is done.
system unit The main part of the computer
