netbook a type of subnotebook computer is primarily designed to allow users to access the internet and checks e mail.
commands input instructions that tell the computer how to process data.
byte series of eight bits
RAM temporarily holds data and programs while the computer is on.
hard disk magnetic storage media that is usally sealed in a case inside a computer.
expansion slot a slot on the motherboard into which a controller card for a peripheral device is inserted.
spyware a program that tracks a users internet usage without the users perrmision.
operating system software that allocates resources, manages storage space , maintains security and controls
database a collection of information stored on one or more computers organized in a uniform format of record and feid.
server a computer network that acts as the central storage location for programs and data used on the network.
