TermDefinition
World Wide Web Information space with URLs, all linked by hyperlinks and available on the internet.
Hyperlink A link to another location accessed by clicking on it.
WYSIWYG Having text on a paper look the same on the screen as it does printing out.
Website A page full of lots of different info in the form of videos, pictures, and text.
Webpage A document on the worldwide web.
Web Browser An application for using the internet with.
HTML Used to tag files for use on the worldwide web.
IP Address Connectivity guidelines and regulations that govern computer networks.
Modem Hardware that encodes digital information for transmission.
ISP The internet service provider that gives connectivity to the internet.
Router Device that connects you to the internet by connecting to your provider.
Contrast Something that is opposite or very different from something else.
Repetition The repeating of something over and over again.
Alignment Arrangement in the correct or appropriate position.
Proximity Nearness in time, space, or relationship.
Internet Global communication network that allows all computers to connect.
