Computers: Understanding Tech 6e 1.4

computer system The system unit along with input devices, output devices, and external storage devices.
single-user computer system A computer system that can accommodate one user at a time; found in homes and small businesses and organizations.
multiuser computer system A computer system that can serve many users at a time; typically used by large organizations to enable multiple employees to simultaneously access, use, and update information stored in a central storage location.
