domain | domain is a form of a computer network in which all user accounts, computers, printers and other security principals, are registered with a central database located on one or more clusters of central computers |

HTML | Hypertext Mark Up Language, HTML is a programing language used to create webpages. |
homepage | first webpage the comes up when you open a browswer |
URL | Uniform Resource Locator - The address of the webpage |
hyperlinks | words that are highlighted that when click on take you to another page |
server | a computer or program that provides services to other computers. |
firewall | security measures for a computer network |
bandwidth | the amount of data that can be transmitted in a fixed amount of time |
HTTP | Hypertext Transfer Protocol - is the underlying protocol used by the World Wide Web to define how messages are formatted and transmitted. |
HTTPS | Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure - HTTPS is a protocol for secure communication over a computer network which is widely used on the Internet |

client | A client is a piece of computer hardware or software that accesses a service made available by a server. |
OS | operating systems - computer system program that manages software and hardware of a computer |
File extensions | File at the suffix part of the file name. The extension indicates a characteristic of the file contents or its intended use. |
FTP | File Transfer Protocol - The File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a standard network protocol used to transfer computer files between a client and server on a computer network. |
