What request does Laertes make of Claudius? Laertes wants to return to France after fulfilling his duty of coming to Denmark for the coronation.

Why does Claudius chide Hamlet? Hamlet is still mourning King Hamlet's death
What do the King and Queen want Hamlet to do? They want Hamlet to stay at Elsinore rather than return to school
Where does Hamlet attend college? Wittenberg
What does Hamlet wish he could do (in his soliloquy)? Commit suicide
How does Hamlet feel about his mother? Gertrude is weak and must have a man
How long after King Hamlet died did Gertrude marry? Within 2 months
What friend comes to see Hamlet? Horatio
For what reason does Horatio tell Hamlet he came to Elsinore? For King Hamlet's funeral
Does Hamlet believe Horatio and the guards have seen King Hamlet's ghost? Yes
What was the ghost wearing when he appeared? His armor
