| glass celing | an artifical limit placed on minority groups moving into positions of autority and decsions making. |
| incentive system | the amount of compensation connected to the quality or quantity of an employee performance |
| job analysis | a specific study of a job to identify in detail the job duties and skill requirements |
| labor union | an organized group of employees who negotiate with employees about issues, such as wages and working condtions |
| oranizational culture | the environment in which people work , made up of the atomsphere , behaviors beliefs and realtionships |
| outsourcing | removing work from one company and sending it to another comapny that can complete it ata lower cost |
| promotion | any form of communication used to inform presuade or remind the advancement of an employee to a postion with greater responablity |
| termination | the end of an emploument realtionship between a company and a employee |
| transfer | the assigment of an employee to another job in the company witha similar level of responibilty |
