| Glass Ceiling | ultimately illegal barrier to advancement |
| Incentive Systems | a business management tool that introduces a structured motivation system to promote desired employee behaviors |
| Job Analysis | process of gathering and analyzing information about the content and the human requirement of jobs, as well as, the context in which job are performed |
| Labor Union | organized association of worker, often in a trade or profession |
| Organizational Culture | a system of shared assumption, values, and beliefs, which governs how people behave in organization. |
| Outsourcing | obtain from an outside or foreign supplier, especially in place of an internal source. |
| Promotion | activity that supports or provides active encouragement for the furtherance of a cause. |
| Termination | action of bringing something or coming to an end. |
| Transfer | move from one place to another. |
| Salary and Wages | not paid a smaller amount for working fewer hours; receives a pay rate per hour. |
| Work Environment | used to describe the surrounding conditions in which an employee operates. |
| Workforce | people engaged in or available for work, either in a country or area in particular company or industry. |
