Examples of verbe en francais Écouter, regarder, préférer, habiter, ect
L'infinitif A verb in it's purest form... it's rock form... before we sculpt it (conjugate it)
Examples of verbs in "l'infinitif" jou(er) regard(er) écout(er) habit(er)
Le présent An action that takes place at this moment Je joue = I play
We take the verb from it's infinitive form when using "Je" and carve off the "r". This is called? Conjugating the verb
Examples of conjugating infinitive verbs to present verbs Regarder (to watch) = Je regarde (I watch) Habiter (to live) = J'habite (I live) Écouter (to listen) = J'écoute (I listen)
Le passé compose An action that takes place in the past. We take the verbe infinitif when using "Je" and change it to "J'ai". We then sculpt the verb by carving off it's "r" and then add on an accent to the "e" = "é"
Examples of conjugating infinitive verbs to pass-tense verbs Regarder (to watch) = J'ai regardé (I watched) Habiter (to live) = J'ai habité (I lived) Écouter (to listen) = J'ai écouté (I listened)
Avoir Le present = J'ai - I have Le passé compose = J'ai eu - I had Le futur proche = Je vais avoir - I will have
Vouloir Le present = Je veux - I want Le passé compose = J'ai voulu - I wanted Le futur proche = Je vais vouloir - I will want
Aller Le present = Je vais - I'm going or I will Le passé compose = Je suis allé(e) - I went Le futur proche = Je vais aller - I will go
Être Le present = Je suis - I am Le passé compose = J'ai été - I was or J'étais - I was (for description) Le futur proche = Je vais être - I will be
