SS Operations

TermDefinition
Sort Used to arrange data in a specific order
Ascending Order Alphabetically or numerical (A to Z or 1 to 10)
Descending Order Revers alphabetical or numerical (Z to A or 10 to 1)
Primary Sort Indicates the primary (1st) sorting range of data (i.e., first name)
Secondary Sort Indicates the next sort range of data (i.e., first name)
Freezing Panes Allows the row and/or columns labels or titles to remain stationary on the screen while you scroll. Allows the user to work in multiple areas of a large spreadsheet and focus the view on specific cell ranges.
Fill Series Used to fill a column or row with consecutive data (cells must be adjacent-next to each other)
Fill Handle Used to create the continuation of a data series
Printing Used to provide a hard copy (copy on paper).
Print Preview Used to view how data is represented on paper.
Print a Selection Used to print a portion (part) of a spreadsheet.
Portrait Paper taller than wide
Landscape Paper wider than tall
