computer vocab cards on software

Central Processing Unit (CPU) / A piece of machinery inside the computer made so that you can execute programs.
File Where you put a saved file.
Hard Disk –Like a floppy disk but permentley made to stay in the computer.
Hardware Everything inside a computer.
Input The power or energy supplied into a machine.
Memory Where everything you save go’s.
Monitor The screen.
Mouse The thing you click on with.
Network Where you have your internet.
Operating System (OS) collection of software that directs a computer's operations, controlling and scheduling the execution of other programs, and managing storage, input/output, and communication resources.
Output Where you plug in something.
Printer Where you print stuff.
Program A spot you go to do stuff.
Server Someone who has there own small spot like example cod4 has servers you can play on.
Software Mechanical things in the computer
Web Browser A program where you can enter the internet and usage of the internet.
