Revison of terms for PM for Examination
| Term | Meaning |

| Milestone | A milestone, by definition, has duration of zero and no effort, and are like interim goals in the project. |
| Duration | Time taken to complete a task. |
| Predecessor | A task that needs to be completed before another task starts. |
| Network Diagram | (blank) |
| Critical Path | The activities that lie on it cannot be delayed without delaying the project. |
| Task | Activities which must be completed to acheive project goal |
| Float | The difference between the time available for performing a task and the time required to complete it. The amount of time that an activity may be delayed from its early start with out delaying the project finish date |
| Resource | Money, Equipemnt and/or people needed to complete a task |
| Slack time | the amount of time that an activity can be delayed past its earliest start or earliest finish without delaying the project. |
| Scope | Defined and specific project beginning and end points. Normally refers to budget or duration of project. |
