| margin | the edge or border of something. |
| alignment | arrangement in a straight line, or in correct or appropriate relative positions |
| default | failure to fulfill an obligation, especially to repay a loan or appear in a court of law. |
| header | pieces of text, or graphics, that appear at the top of the page. |
| footer | pieces of text, or graphics, that appear at the bottom of the page. |
| column | a vertical division of a page or text. |
| row | a number of people or things in a more or less straight line. |
| cell | the intersection between a row and a column on a spreadsheet that starts with cell A1. |
| merge | combine or cause to combine to form a single entity. |
| Spreadsheet | an electronic document in which data is arranged in the rows and columns of a grid and can be manipulated and used in calculations. |
| Formula | a fixed form of words, especially one used in particular contexts or as a conventional usage. |
| Label | a small piece of paper, fabric, plastic, or similar material attached to an object and giving information about it. |
| Value | the regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something. |
| Formula Bar | A toolbar at the top of the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet window that you can use to enter or copy an existing formula in to cells or charts. |
| Function | an activity or purpose natural to or intended for a person or thing. |
| AutoFormat | Predefined shading and boarder formats that can be applied to cells in a spreadsheet. |
