| Interest | The cost of borrowing money |
| Character | General impression the entrepreneur makes on the potential lender as to their worthiness to repay the loan |
| Sales | A quantity or amount sold |
| Corporate Finance | Area dealing with monetary decisions that corporate enterprise makes |
| Managerial Finance | Area dealing with monetary decisions that all types of companies make except corporations |
| Personal Finance | Individual taking care of there own money |
| Dividends | A small payment to each person who owns a stock of a company |
| Cash Flow | Amount of money being transferred into and out of a business |
| Conditions | Intended purpose of the loan |
| Collateral | An asset pledged to the lender as security for the money being borrowed |
| Capital | The money the entrepreneur has personally invested in the business. |
| Capacity | The ability of the borrower to repay the loan |
| Liability | An obligation, debt , or responsibility owned to someone |
| Liabilities | Debts owned |
| Net Worth | How much an entity is worth |
| Profit | Financial gain |
| Assets | Resources from which it expects to gain some future benefits |
| Interest Rates | A rate which is charged or paid for the use of money. |
| Allocate | To distribute according to plan. |
| Principle | The amount of the loan. |
