Excel 2013 Window Definitions
| Term | Definition |

| Quick Access Toolbar | Commonly used commands at the top left of the application window |
| Ribbon | A group of related tools organized within a set of tabs |
| Program Window Controls | Allow you to move, resize, and close the application window |
| Sheet Tab | Allows you to add and navigate through multiple windows |
| View Controls | adjust zooming in and out of a worksheet, as well as selecting page view options |
| Tabs | Contains related groups of different tools and commands to perform the most common tasks |
| Group | Contains related features and tools organized within a ribbon's tab |
| Dialog Box Launcher | Opens a small window with additional information and options about a particular tool or group |
| Column | Vertical cells that are labeled with letters |
| Rows | Horizontal cells that are labeled with numbers |
| Active Cell | refers to the currently selected cell in a spreadsheet. It can be identified by a bold (typically blue) outline that surrounds the cell |
| Name Box | Displays the name or location of the active cell |
| Formula Bar | Where data and formulas are entered and edited, which then appears in the active cell. |
| Copy Shortcut | CTRL + C |
| Pasted Shortcut | CTRL + V |
| Cut Shortcut | CTRL + X |
| Undo Shortcut | CTRL + Z |
| Escape Key | A key on a computer keyboard that can be used to cancel an operation. |
| Undo Command | Will reverse the last action taken on the computer |
| Right Click | Uused to provide additional functionality to a computer's mouse, usually in the form of a drop-down menu containing additional options |
